Canton - Stark County is known as Ohio's Golf Capital, and boasts over 20 beautifully manicured golf courses for players of all skill levels. Explore four beautiful courses in the North Canton and Hartville areas: Arrowhead, Sable Creek, The Sanctuary, and Seven Hills. golf courses, as well as some of the best spots to relax after your round!
Begin at Sable Creek Golf Course in historic Hartville, and work our way down to Arrowhead Golf Course in North Canton near the heart of Stark County. After you’ve finished your rounds of golf, you’ll be just minutes away from some of the best craft beer and dining the area has to offer.
Where to Play
Originally started in 1994, this is a family-owned and operated golf course. Gently rolling hills and well-manicured grounds make Sable Creek Golf Course a pleasure to play. Golfers of all skill levels will feel at home here with the wide variety of holes, and 4 sets of tees Sable Creek features 27 holes divided into three 9-hole courses: Maroon, Black, and Gold. Bentgrass greens, tees, and fairways add to the overall “country club” feel and quality of the course. Take a break at the turn, or after your round with a delicious sandwich and refreshing beverage on their beautiful, relaxing patio that features a picturesque Koi pond and waterfall! Need to work on your long or short game? Sable Creek’s facility also features a well-maintained driving range with two putting greens and one chipping green with a sand trap.

Seven Hills Golf Club
This 18-hole course offers gorgeous scenery with plenty of trees, water, and bunkers along with well-maintained fast greens and plush fairways. The course features some quirky holes and tight fairways that will make your club selection and yardage critical.

The Sanctuary Golf Club
The Sanctuary Golf Club was recently ranked #13 out of over 200 golf courses in Northeast Ohio by Golf Cleveland, Ohio! The course features rolling hills, sand traps, and water hazards to offer a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The unique layout of The Sanctuary will demand the use of every club in your bag. Warm-up before your round at their beautiful putting green, or by hitting into their driving net. Head over to their “19th hole” before, after, or at the turn of your round to enjoy their beautifully landscaped patio featuring an outdoor grill and a full bar. Recharge, or fuel up with a mouthwatering hot dog, sausage, or hamburger served hot from the grill, and an ice-cold beer or mixed drink.

Conveniently located in central Stark County, this player-friendly course features a few challenges without being overly punishing. It features a narrow front nine, and a hilly back nine. The greens are small, fast, and well protected by sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on two of the courses’ 18 holes for an added challenge. Once previously a private club, Arrowhead is now open to the public. Arrowhead also offers an on-site restaurant called the Clubhouse Grille, where you can unwind after your round with a delicious burger, and ice-cold beer!
