The “Grandma & Grandpa’s Attic” exhibition features artifacts from the Museum’s permanent collection from the 1890s through the 1980s. Using the generations concept, Collections Manager Kait Bergert combed through the Museum’s collection database looking for iconic artifacts that represent a specific decade. “Grandma & Grandpa’s Attic” includes objects such as a Kodak “Brownie” camera from the 1910s, an original Monopoly board game from 1936, a Wurlitzer Jukebox from the 1930s, a wedding dress made from a World War II silk parachute, and a Cabbage Patch Kid from the 1980s.
