Canton Symphony Orchestra
Overview
Established in 1938, the Canton Symphony Orchestra Association is a nonprofit, professional orchestra located in Stark County. The CSO's mission is to perform and present live orchestral music at the highest possible artistic level to enrich, entertain, educate, engage and challenge diverse audiences in a variety of settings.
The CSO presents a variety of programming to the community, including classical concerts, educational programs, pops concerts, and even its own chorus! The organization presents to a combined annual audience of approximately 75,000. The Canton Symphony Orchestra is operated and performs at the Zimmerman Symphony Center and Umstattd Performing Arts Hall.
