Overview
The University of Mount Union is a NCAA Division III school and member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. As well as University buildings with various rooms available for rental for wedding receptions, showers, birthday parties and special events. Availability based on the campus calendar. Sports facilities include: 23rd St. Fields - Location includes a baseball stadium with dugouts, bull pens, scoreboard, press box, and fan seating area; softball stadium with dugouts, press box, and fan seating area; large covered batting cage area; baseball practice infield; and two full size practice fields. McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex - features several athletic venues including the arena gymnasium with capacity for three full size basketball and volleyball courts and seating capacity for 3,000; a one-court auxiliary gym; the Peterson Field House 200-meter NCAA regulation indoor track complete with field event facilities; Hammond Natatorium with pool, diving area, scoreboard and seating for 1,000 spectators. Mount Union Stadium - Home to Purple Raiders football, men’s and women’s soccer, lacrosse, and track and field teams, the stadium features a synthetic grass turf field, press box, scoreboard, lighting, stands with seating capacity of 5,200, and a 400-meter NCAA regulation eight-lane, all-weather track with all field event facilities. Whitchill Tennis Courts - features six outdoor tennis courts.
