Overview
It's time for a Girls Night Out! Join us for wine and cheese, then celebrate the trailblazers of history with Eden Valley Enterprises' inspiring documentary, Victoria Woodhull: Shattering Glass Ceilings. Step back into 1872 and experience the story of Victoria Woodhull, the first woman to run for U.S. president, as she challenged societal norms and advocated for women’s rights at a time when few dared. Featuring actress Kate Luke as Woodhull and narrated by Debra Rose, the film captures Woodhull’s struggle as a reformist, businesswoman, and suffragist. Join us to explore how her pioneering spirit, alongside the work of many other strong women, shaped America’s journey toward gender equality. This screening will be followed by an engaging discussion led by Bette Lou Higgins, Artistic Director of Eden Valley Enterprises, whose mission of bringing history to life has been nationally celebrated.
