Gervasi Vineyard & Villas - Is set on 55 picturesque acres conveniently located to the airport and Canton’s entertainment district. Gervasi has several teambuilding options for groups of all sizes. Enjoy a private winery tour and tasting on its own or paired with appetizers. Your team can participate in a cooking class creating a world class menu under the guidance of Gervasi’s Chef. At the end of the class your team is able to taste their creations paired with Gervasi’s famous wine selections. The next experience can be a private horticultural presentation in Gervasi’s conservatory with many topics and group projects to choose from. If your team would like to experience the outdoors they can participate in a guided hike through Middle Branch Park, adjacent to Gervasi, and finish with a wine and appetizer tasting. Their unique teambuilding options include group fitness classes with their personal trainers, golf lessons with their PGA Pro, or a cooking demonstration by the Chef to include a wine and/or beer tasting. You can also plan something stress relieving for your group at Glenmoor’s full service European spa and salon. Glenmoor’s spa can accommodate groups of all sizes.
Stark Parks Orienteering and Geocaching- Start your quest at one of the picturesque Stark Park locations. Orienteering will exercise your groups mind and body. You can break into teams, each with a map that will navigate them across streams, over hills and through trails. There is a marker and unique paper punch at each stop to show you’ve been there. First team finished wins! Geocaching takes your quest to the tech level using a GPS enabled device to help you navigate to small treasures or caches along the trail.
Lake Avenue Trailway - Your group can spend an afternoon navigating the Ohio and Erie Canalway building teamwork and camaraderie. The Peddle and Paddle tour is one of their most popular. Start your adventure with a bike ride down the historic towpath trail, then your bikes will be picked up and canoes dropped off to finish your ride down the Tuscarawas River back to your starting point. End the day on the patio picnic tables with a great lunch.
Maize Valley Farm & Winery combines the relaxing setting of a rural farm with an award winning winery. Take hay rides, sit around a campfire, have a fully catered cookout. Maize Valley can also give you an educational tour of the vineyards to learn the agricultural aspects behind growing grapes in Ohio. After your team learns the basics of grape growing, complete the day by doing a hilltop tasting in their pavilion. From field to table your group will be eating and drinking products from Maize Valley Farm & Winery; a great way to include a sustainability aspect to your meeting or convention.
Escape Room Downtown - Escape Room Downtown offers puzzle rooms that will have your crew talking for hours after their experience! We craft our own escape games to be mission-based, team-oriented, problem solving fun. Perfect for building camaraderie. We partner with the Canton Brewing Company to offer fantastic event space, food and drinks. Your group can even walk from CBC to Escape Room Downtown carrying their favorite adult beverages!
Escape Canton is a fully interactive and physical game. You and a group of people will be locked in a themed room. Your goal is to work together and use elements around you to find clues and solve puzzles in order to escape the room within a certain time limit. Not only is an escape room a lot of fun, it’s an excellent team building activity and mental challenge!
